フランスからのお客さんが来ています。 [アイスコア研究実施中]

こんにちは。服部でございます。

先週から2週間ほどフランスのNicolas Caillon博士が来訪し、某アイスコア試料を分析しております。

↑今回測っているアイスコア試料。ここに数千年の記録がつまっています。

昨年度よりJSPSの二国間交流事業の支援を受け(こちら)、フランスのLaboratoire de Glaciologie et Géophysique de l’Environnement (LGGE)のJ. Savarino博士たちの研究グループと共同研究を始めております。
現在M2のIさんの修士〜博士課程の研究テーマにも関わっているプロジェクトが進行しており、研究としても教育としてもとってもありがたいプロジェクトとなっております。私自身ここで得た経験が本当に役だっています（詳しくは地球化学会年会(9月＠横浜国立大)でお話する予定）。

色々あるので研究の詳細を今すぐにここに書けないのが残念です。けど本当におもしろくなってきました！できるだけ早く発表、論文化していくつもりなので、どうぞ楽しみにしていてくださいね！

ちなみに、今回来日しているCaillon博士もすごい人で、2003年にサイエンス誌に発表されたあるとっても有名な論文の第一著者の方です。

秋には私たちがグルノーブルに伺います。その時また色々アップデートしたいと思います。
